Custom ImageJ Plugins!™

Overview: This service by OptiNav, Inc. creates custom plugins for ImageJ.  There are four steps: describe the task and receive a difficulty classification, purchase the plugin, receive and test it, and request modifications if needed.
Specialties: Hundreds of ImageJ plugins have been written at OptiNav, Inc.  Areas of competence include spatial and temporal signal processing, Fourier and FHT analysis, image filtering, particle analysis, convolution, deconvoution, correlation analysis, geometrical analysis, focus, range measurement, ray tracing, linear algebra, optimization, control of serial devices, QuickTime, and manipulation of ImageJ data structures such as image stacks and ROIs.
Process: Step 1. Describe the task.
Send an e-mail to rpd@optinav.com describing the image processing task.   Attach a sample image and any appropriate references.  (If you want OptiNav, Inc. to protect the plugin as confidential information for some period of time, please state this and give the length of time. This would require modification of the license given below.  You are permitted to redistrubute the plugin to the ImageJ community in accordance with the conditions in the license.)   The task will be evaluated and classified as a Short Custom ImageJ Plugin™, Tall Custom ImageJ Plugin™, Grande Custom ImageJ Plugin™, or "beyond the scope of this mechanism."   Schedules will be consulted to determine whether the work can be accomplished immediately or needs to be planned for a future date. After receiving the classification and schedule information by e-mail, proceed to:

Step 2. Purchase the plugin.

Step 3. Receive and test plugin.
Your plugin will be delivered by e-mail according to the schedule that was sent along with the difficulty classification. You should test it to be sure it meets your needs.

Step 4. Support and modifications.
You are entitled to e-mail product support and any required modifications for a period of 30 days after initial delivery of the plugin in Step 2.  Modifications may include bug fixes and minor changes to the operation of the plugin.
